Phosphoramidites

Structural studies on large DNA and RNA molecules by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) require labelling of these molecules with stable isotopes.

Silantes offers a wide range of stable isotope-labelled

in many combinations of the stable isotopes 2H, 13C and 15N for the chemical synthesis of oligonucleotides (click here for information about the Silantes chemical synthesis service). Ths isotopic purity is >98 %. The phosphoramidites are available in 10 mg or 50 mg quantities.

Silantes also offers stable isotope-labelled nucleosides and nucleotides as well as a custom enzymatic oligo-synthesis service.

Deoxy-Phosphoramidites

Our stable isotope-labelled deoxy-phosphoramidites are uniformly labeled. They are chemically synthesized from deoxy-nucleosides obtained from 2H, 13C- and/or 15N- labelled DNA.

Ribo-Phosphoramidites

The stable isotope-labelled ribo-phosphoramidites are uniformly and site-specifically labelled and available in a variety of patterns of 2H, 13C and 15N labels.

High quality at reasonable prices

The isotopic enrichment of the amidites is >98 % having a chemical purity of >95 %. This is confirmed by mass spectrometric analysis and 31P-NMR (which is shown in the figure below). The figure shows that phosphonate (at 150ppm), a well-known contaminant in the synthesis of deoxy-phosphoramidites, is absent. The organic-biochemical approach permits us to offer the phosphoramidites at very competitive prices.
